About Our Attorney:

Mr. Alex M. Moisa is an attorney practicing in Uptown Whittier, California. He has been practicing for over twenty years, specializing in family law and estate planning. Prior to opening his office in Uptown Whittier in 1998, Mr. Moisa practiced municipal law and has worked in the criminal and personal injury fields. Although these fields are not a primary part of our practice, the early period greatly adds to our current focus on family law and allows Mr. Moisa to offer divorce clients additional insights into business and criminal matters. In his practice, Mr. Moisa has represented hundreds of individuals and families in their complicated and sensitive family law matters. Mr. Moisa has successfully represented his clients in obtaining fair and equitable child support, alimony, child custody, and visitation awards. Mr. Moisa also brings peace of mind to his many clients in assisting them with their estate planning needs. Aside from managing a successful law practice, Mr. Moisa is an active member of the Whittier community. He has been involved in numerous community organizations and non-profit organizations and has served on City of Whittier Boards and Commissions. Specifically, Mr. Moisa currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Whole Child and has served on the Boards of the Boys and Girls Club of Whittier, SPIRITT Family Services, and served as the first president of the Friends of Pio Pico State Park. Mr. Moisa has also served on the City of Whittier Parks and Recreation Commission and on the Citizens Technical Advisory Committee, representing the City of Whittier, for the Puente Hills Native Habitat Preservation Authority. Mr. Moisa graduated from Montebello High School, earned a B.A. degree in English from the University of California, Los Angeles, and earned his law degree from U.C. Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Moisa served as an Associate Editor of the Boalt Hall Law Review and as the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the La Raza Law Students Law Review. Mr. Moisa is married with three children and resides in Whittier, California.
