Simmons, brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to her clients. Amber is a fourth-generation resident of Nipomo, California, and the first in her family to attend college. She graduated magna cum laude from Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo in 2008 and earned her law degree with honors from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law in 2012. Amber's diverse background includes work in politics and as an associate attorney at Andre, Morris & Buttery, where she handled complex civil litigation, real estate disputes, business conflicts, probate proceedings, and employment litigation. In 2021, Amber founded Simmons Law Firm to serve her clients and community with excellence and compassion. Our firm offers a range of services, including divorce, child custody, restraining orders, child support, spousal support, property division, and valuation and division of joint businesses. We also handle employment law matters such as wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, and harassment. Additionally, we provide assistance with probate issues, including will contests, trust disputes, elder abuse, breach of fiduciary duty, undue influence, and lack of capacity.
