My Child Says Daddy

My Child Says Daddy (MCSD) is a Los Angeles-based organization committed to empowering fathers in their parenting journey. Founded in 1989 by Reginald Brass, MCSD offers a range of services designed to support fathers in becoming more active participants in their children's lives. These services include workshops on fatherhood, motherhood, dealing with divorce, parenting classes, and assistance with legal rights. The organization also provides counseling, monitored visitation, and domestic violence/anger management programs. MCSD is not a law firm but a parenting organization focused on building better families in the community.

Mission Statement
MCSD is dedicated to serving as a bridge for building better families in the community. The organization addresses issues of concern to fathers seeking more active involvement in the rearing of their children, teaching fathers that they have an important role from the conception of the child throughout his/her entire life. MCSD works with all types of parents-married, divorced, single, or out-of-wedlock-to ensure that the child's welfare is always the number one goal.

Founder: Reginald Brass
Reginald Brass is the Founder and President of My Child Says Daddy, a non-profit organization established in 1991 to help African-American fathers share responsibility in raising their children. Mr. Brass has experience as a teacher/counselor and was the co-sponsor of the First Public Community Forum on Child Support in Los Angeles. He has been instrumental in educating the public on the importance of fatherhood in both print and broadcast media.
