Founded in 2018 by Attorney Beau Mayfield, our firm has been serving the Penn Valley community with dedication and expertise. Attorney Mayfield began his career in 2009 as a judicial law clerk in the First Circuit-State of Hawai'i, participating in over 40 jury trials and performing legal research. After his clerkship, he co-founded Mayfield and Yen, LLP, focusing on small business law, estate planning, and litigation in both Nevada and California. In 2012, he moved in-house as Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel for a publicly listed financial services firm, overseeing the company's IPO on NASDAQ and developing anti-fraud policies and compliance protocols. Returning to California, he founded the Law Office of Beau Mayfield in 2018, focusing on estate planning and business legal services. Attorney Mayfield graduated from the University of the Pacific-McGeorge School of Law in 2008 and holds a B.A. in Native American Studies from the University of California-Davis. He is also a part-time faculty member at Sierra College, teaching Business Law and Intro to Business. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, gardening, and exploring the outdoors.
