Innocence OC

Innocence OC is a dedicated non-profit organization based in Laguna Beach, California, committed to advocating for individuals who have been wrongfully convicted. Our mission is to provide pro bono legal assistance to those who are factually innocent or have been unjustly convicted under the "kill zone" theory. We work tirelessly to uncover injustices within the criminal justice system and promote a fair and equitable legal process for all.

Founded in 2018 by Annee Della Donna, Innocence OC operates as a clinical program associated with the University of California, Irvine School of Law. Our team comprises part-time pro bono attorneys, paid investigators, and a board of directors consisting of accomplished business leaders. We collaborate with student volunteers and interns to ensure comprehensive support for our clients.

Our approach is threefold: we meticulously investigate each case to uncover the truth, provide dedicated legal representation to uphold the rights of the wrongfully convicted, and advocate for systemic change to prevent future injustices. Through these efforts, we aim to restore justice and bring hope to those whose lives have been disrupted by wrongful convictions.
