Imperial Beach Border Patrol Station is the most southwestern Border Patrol Station in the continental United States, established on March 3, 1985. Located at 1802 Saturn Blvd, San Diego, CA 92154, it covers 135 square miles of Southern California, encompassing diverse terrains such as sandy beaches, rugged canyons, mesas, marshlands, agricultural fields, and urban areas. The station is responsible for 5.5 miles of international border between the United States and Mexico, playing a pivotal role in preventing illegal immigration and narcotics smuggling. Agents utilize various methods, including mountain bikes, all-terrain vehicles, horses, and rigid inflatable boats, to patrol the area effectively. The station also boasts a Community Relations Unit and the San Diego Sector's first Explorer Scouts Post, recognized for their work with the community in support of Operation Gatekeeper.
