Douglas County District Attorney's Office is committed to upholding justice and ensuring the safety of the community in Minden, Nevada. Our office handles a wide range of legal matters, focusing primarily on criminal defense, civil litigation, and family law. Our Criminal Division is responsible for prosecuting criminal offenses, ensuring that justice is served while maintaining the rights of the accused. We are also involved in Family Law cases, addressing issues such as child custody, divorce, and domestic violence, aiming to resolve disputes in a manner that serves the best interests of families.

At the helm of our office is District Attorney Mark B. Jackson, who has been serving the community since 2001. Under his leadership, the office has implemented initiatives like the Special Victim Response Team (SVRT) to address domestic violence and enhance victim safety. Our mission is to create a safer community through positive partnerships and to earn and hold the trust and respect of the citizens we serve.
