Children's Law Center of California

Children's Law Center of California (CLC) is the nation's largest children's legal services organization, dedicated to representing children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned under the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles, Sacramento, or Placer County Juvenile Dependency Court systems. With a team of nearly 500 professionals, including attorneys, investigators, paralegals, and support staff, CLC advocates for nearly 19,000 children and youth in foster care each year. Their mission is to ensure the well-being and future success of their clients through legal representation, multidisciplinary advocacy, and public policy reform. CLC believes every child deserves to be treated with dignity and have the ability to fully participate in the court process, striving for loving and permanent relationships for every child.
