Welcome to the Associated Students Legal Resource Center (ASLRC), a dedicated service committed to providing UCSB students with essential legal information and support. Our mission is to empower students by offering free consultations, educational resources, and referrals on a wide range of legal issues.
Our Services Include:
- Citations: Assistance with Minor in Possession, Public Intoxication, Fake ID, Noise Violations, and Public Urination.
- Housing Issues: Support for Security Deposit Disputes, Evictions, and Habitability Concerns.
- Family Law: Guidance on Restraining Orders, Dissolutions, and Child Custody/Support.
- Personal Injury: Advice on Vehicle Accidents.
- Landlord/Tenant Relations: Lease Reviews and Landlord/Tenant Questions.
- Immigration Matters: Support for Immigration Issues.
- And More: Comprehensive assistance on various legal topics.
Appointment Information:
Appointments are available Monday through Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 5:15 p.m., offering both remote (Zoom, FaceTime, or telephone) and in-person consultations at our Pardall Center office. Walk-In Services:
Walk-in consultations are available on a first-come, first-served basis on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. While appointments have priority, we strive to serve walk-in clients promptly.
Service Limitations:
Please note that we do not provide legal representation or advice but offer education, information, and self-help services to assist students in resolving legal issues. We are unable to advise on conflicts between two or more UCSB students or between a student and the University.
