Meet the Attorneys

Ricardo Aguayo

Ricardo, a Mexican-born immigrant, grew up in California's Central Valley in a family of migrant farm workers. He graduated with honors from UCLA and earned his law degree from UCLA School of Law. Ricardo is a certified legal specialist in immigration and nationality law, with extensive experience in the complex intersection between immigration and criminal law. He has represented numerous families in front of immigration judges and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Bertha Adriana Magaña

Bertha, also born in Mexico, was brought to this country at a young age and learned firsthand the struggles faced by immigrants. She graduated with honors from UCLA and obtained her law degree from UC Berkeley School of Law. Bertha has a deep commitment to working with marginalized communities and has previously worked for the Public Defender's Office of Alameda County and the California Appellate Project defending prisoners on California's Death Row. She is a compassionate listener and dedicated attorney for her clients.

We are located at 1223 Solano Ave., Suite 4, Albany, CA 94706. Parking is convenient with plenty of free parking available near the office. Our mailing address is P.O. Box 6568, Albany, CA 94706. We are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays. For appointments, please call (510) 989-2344.
